2. Powder Grinding: Fine Grinding & SievingEach carefully selected incense material is ground individually with exquisite craftsmanship to form fine incense powder. The powder is then filtered repeatedly through fine-mesh sieves to completely remove impurities and coarse particles, resulting in uniformly smooth and delicate incense powder. This meticulous step lays a solid foundation for subsequent mud kneading and bead shaping, guaranteeing dense and sturdy texture of the final incense beads.

3. Mud Kneading: Traditional Hand Mixing & PoundingThe refined incense powder is mixed with natural plant-based adhesive powder and purified water in a precise, fixed ratio. The mixture is then kneaded and pounded repeatedly by hand for no less than 30 minutes, until the incense mud becomes soft, elastic, non-sticky and completely free of granular lumps. This thorough hand-kneading process ensures full integration of incense powder and adhesive powder, allowing the initial fusion of diverse herbal and woody fragrances.

4. Mud Aging: Sealed Resting for MaturationThe well-kneaded incense mud is tightly wrapped with plastic wrap and placed in a cool, shaded area to rest and age for 2 to 4 hours. This sealed aging process allows the fragrances of different herbal materials to fully penetrate and blend with each other, while enhancing the toughness and plasticity of the mud. It effectively prevents cracking and deformation during the subsequent bead forming and air-drying stages.

5. Bead Forming: Pure Hand-RollingThe aged incense mud is evenly divided into small, equally-sized lumps, which are then carefully rolled into round bead bodies completely by hand. Artisans control the rolling force evenly to ensure every single bead is perfectly round, full and uniform in size. 6. Drilling: Precise PerforationOnce the beads reach a semi-dry state (neither too soft nor too hard), precise perforation is conducted using fine steel needles. Artisans ensure the bead holes are of uniform diameter and have smooth inner walls, avoiding excessive force that may cause cracking or deformation of the bead bodies. This delicate step prepares the beads perfectly for the final stringing process.

7. Shade Drying: Natural Air-Drying for Fragrance LockingThe drilled beads are evenly arranged on bamboo sieves or mesh racks, and placed in a cool, well-ventilated and dry environment for natural air-drying. Exposure to direct sunlight and high-temperature baking is strictly prohibited to protect the natural fragrance of the materials. The complete drying process takes 7 to 10 days, which locks in the original aroma of the incense materials effectively and makes the beads dense, firm and shatter-resistant.

8. Polishing & Stringing: Finished ProductAfter full air-drying, the beads undergo multi-stage meticulous polishing, ranging from 800-mesh coarse sandpaper to 5000-mesh ultra-fine sandpaper. The polishing process renders the bead surfaces smooth, lustrous and as gentle as jade, with no blemishes or rough spots. Finally, the polished beads are hand-strung with high-quality cord, paired with minimalist elegant accessories, to complete the finished incense beads bracelet, which is then ready for quality inspection and delivery.
